15/05/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 15 May, the European Commission announced that it had allocated almost €130 million in humanitarian aid to support the most vulnerable people in Latin America and the Caribbean in 2024. €50 million will be allocated to the protracted humanitarian crisis in Venezuela and its regional repercussions. €11 million has been earmarked to help people affected by armed conflict in Colombia.
