European Commission consults with a view to revising its regulation on standardisation

08/05/2024 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission plans to amend its regulation on European standardisation at the end of 2024. It has therefore opened a public consultation until 25 July to receive contributions and inform its work. It hopes to receive views on the effectiveness of the current regulation and opportunities for improvement, considering that the standardisation environment has changed considerably since 2012, when the regulation came into force.
