ACER to comment on changes to methodology for electricity ‘day-ahead’ coupling products

On Tuesday 7 May, the European Union Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) announced that on 26 April it had received a proposal from all the Nominated Electricity Market Operators (NEMOs) to modify the methodology for single day-ahead coupling products.

This methodology, governed by the Capacity Allocation and Congestion Management (CACM) Regulation, defines all the products eligible for the EU’s single day-ahead coupling.
