‘European Semester’, Commission publishes an analysis of social convergence in seven Member States

On Wednesday 8 May, the European Commission published a detailed analysis by country in the fields of employment, skills and social inclusion for Bulgaria, Estonia, Spain, Italy, Lithuania, Hungary and Romania, detailing the results of the social convergence framework. 

Potential risks to upward social convergence were identified for these Member States in the first stage of the analysis of the Joint Employment Report (JER) 2024.
