12/04/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 12 April, the European Commission launched the 2024 edition of the European Social Innovation Competition (EUSIC), which rewards social innovation projects that respond to societal challenges and support European objectives such as the green transition. The 2024 EUSIC challenge focuses on social innovation in the field of ‘digital democracy’. The EUSIC is open until 11 June to social innovators from the Member States and countries associated with Horizon Europe. Applications will be assessed based on impact, viability, degree of innovation and potential for scalability and replicability. Three prizes of €75,000, €50,000 and €25,000 will be awarded to the first, second and third winning projects respectively. Link to the call: https://aeur.eu/f/bqv (EV)
