According to various sources, it is becoming unlikely that the European Parliament’s two draft reports on the ‘single currency’ package will be put to the vote in plenary before the end of the current parliamentary term.

The two draft reports are led by Stefan Berger (EPP, German). One concerns the European Commission’s proposal on the digital euro (see EUROPE B13211A11). It had already been submitted later than planned (see EUROPE B13350A24). The other concerns the Commission’s...
