Changes in digital environment and future of European telecommunications on agenda of informal meeting of EU27 Ministers

The Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU will host the informal meeting of Telecommunications Ministers in Louvain-la-Neuve on Thursday 11 April.

The EU27, together with Thierry Breton, the Commissioner for the Internal Market, are due to use this meeting to discuss the Commission’s recent ‘White Paper’ (see EUROPE B13355A8) and outline the main conclusions of the forthcoming Transport, Telecommunications and Energy Council meeting on 21 May.
