European Parliament approves agreement with EU Council to delay sustainability reporting

10/04/24 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 10 April, the European Parliament approved by 562 votes to 44, with 15 abstentions, the provisional agreement reached with the Council of the EU in February to delay the adoption of all sector-specific sustainability reporting standards (ESRS) for EU companies and general ESRS for non-EU companies (see EUROPE B13346A3).
