EU to sign memorandum of understanding on raw materials with Belgrade

10/04/24 (Agence Europe) – The European Union is continuing to develop partnerships with third countries on raw materials. It will shortly be signing a memorandum of understanding on “sustainable raw materials, battery value chains and electric vehicles” with Serbia. In any case, the EU27 gave the Commission the green light on Wednesday 10 April. After Uzbekistan last week (see EUROPE B13385A26), Serbia is the twelfth country to negotiate a partnership of this kind with the EU. (LM)
