08/04/24 (Agence Europe) – “Accelerate and remove the remaining obstacles to the mobility of apprentices across Europe” was the message from the Euro App Mobility association at its general meeting on 3 and 4 April in Brussels (see EUROPE 13384/21). To support this objective, the participants unanimously adopted a call to the Member States to maintain the level of the ‘Europe on the Move’ recommendation, presented at the end of 2023, which sets the proportion of mobility experience for these learners at a minimum of 15% by 2030. The call, published on 5 April, sets out six priorities: a single status for mobile apprentices in Europe; automatic mutual recognition of learning outcomes abroad; a European vocational learner card; the promotion of mobile apprenticeship mentoring; a European training pathway, and sustainable financial support for the Erasmus + programme.
