European Committee of Regions involved in issues that influence future of EU

At the opening of the 10th European Summit of the Regions and Cities on Monday 18 March in Mons, Belgium, Vasco Alves Cordeiro, President of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR), said that the regions and cities were “the beating heart” of the European Union and that they wanted to have a say in the debate on the future of the EU.
