Globalisation Adjustment Fund helps Danish and German workers made redundant

29/02/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 29 February, the European Commission proposed to support 835 workers made redundant in the German steel industry with €3 million from the European Globalisation Adjustment Fund (EGF) for redundant workers. It also proposed supporting 390 workers made redundant in the meat processing industry in Denmark, with aid of €1.9 million from the same fund, it said in a press release.
