European Parliament/EU Council agreement on standardisation of technical requirements for type-approval of non-road machinery

On the evening of Wednesday 21 February, negotiators from the Council of the European Union and the European Parliament reached a provisional agreement on the regulation on the type approval and market surveillance of non-road mobile machinery (NRMM) driving on public roads (see EUROPE B13302A17). 

This regulation harmonises road safety requirements for self-propelled machinery, such as lawnmowers, harvesters or bulldozers, which have to drive on public roads. It is intended to replace...
