EU renews targeted sanctions for another year

02/02/2024 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 2 February, the Council of the European Union decided to extend by one year, until 20 February 2025, its restrictive measures in force against a Zimbabwean company. These measures consist of an embargo on arms and equipment likely to be used for internal repression and a targeted asset freeze against Zimbabwe Defence Industries. Since February 2022, no-one has been on the list (see EUROPE B12896A10).
