MEPs stress importance of holistic approach to LGBTQI equality

On Tuesday, 23 January, members of the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs (LIBE) approved—with 46 votes in favour and 8 against—the draft report on the implementation of the European Union’s LGBTIQ Equality Strategy for the 2020–2025 period.

This text had already been the subject of a progress report last April (see EUROPE B13160A19).
