European Parliament’s Environment and Industry Committees approve provisional interinstitutional agreement on regulation on reduction of methane emissions

11/01/24 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 11 January, MEPs on the European Parliament’s Environment (ENVI) and Industry (ITRE) Committees approved the provisional agreement reached in mid-November on the regulation to reduce methane emissions (see EUROPE B13293A5), with 91 votes in favour, 10 against and 6 abstentions.
