With 495 votes in favour, 65 against and 58 abstentions, the European Parliament has adopted a resolution calling for further reform of corporate tax rules (see EUROPE B13225A21).
Proposed by Isabel Benjumea (EPP, Spanish), this text calls for an immediate reduction in the regulatory burden on European businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).
