39% of LGBT+ people with disabilities in Europe have experienced violence, according to ILGA

The International Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans and Intersex Association (ILGA) Europe, a network of associations defending the rights of LGBT+ people, in collaboration with the European Disability Forum, published a report on 4 December based on data from the EU Fundamental Rights Agency, which reveals that LGBT+ people with disabilities in Europe face alarming levels of violence, harassment and discrimination.

Nearly 39% had been victims of physical or sexual assault, half of these cases...
