Persistent organic pollutants, European Commission consults public on PFOS

04/12/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 4 December, the European Commission launched an online public consultation on an implementing regulation aimed at adapting the EU regulation (2019/1021) on persistent organic pollutants (POPs) - highly toxic, everlasting chemical pollutants - to the EU’s international commitments under the Stockholm Convention on POPs.
