European Parliament gives green light for extension of Annemie Turtelboom’s term of office and appointment of Petri Sarvamaa

22/11/23 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 22 November, the European Parliament approved the extension of Belgian candidate Annemie Turtelboom’s term of office at the Court of Auditors for a further six years (550 votes in favour, 43 against and 39 abstentions), as well as Finland’s nomination of current Finnish MEP Petri Sarvamaa as a candidate (528 votes in favour, 62 against and 39 abstentions).
