The Governing Council of the European Central Bank (ECB), at a meeting held symbolically in Athens at the invitation of the Bank of Greece, unanimously decided on Thursday 26 October to maintain its three key rates at the levels set at its previous meeting on 14 September (see EUROPE B13250A1).
The interest rate on the deposit facility therefore remains at 4.00%, the rate on the main refinancing operations at 4.5% and the rate on the marginal lending facility at 4.75%.
