First meeting of Conciliation Committee on 2024 budget

The first meeting of the Conciliation Committee on the 2024 budget negotiations took place on the morning of Thursday 26 October, just before the European Council met to discuss the revision of the 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) (see other news).

On 18 October (see EUROPE B13274A13), the European Parliament adopted its amendments to the EU Council’s position, adopted in July (see EUROPE B13221A22), based on a revised MFF, which the Council has not done.
