EU Court of Justice clarifies application of air passenger rights in event of denied boarding

Passengers are entitled to compensation even if they failed to check in and were informed of denied boarding at least 2 weeks before a flight’s departure time, said the Court of Justice of the European Union in a judgment handed down on Thursday 26 October (Case C-238/22).
