MEPs finish their work on Frontex and caution agency again

On Thursday, 26 October, the European Parliament’s Committee on Civil Liberties (LIBE) adopted a resolution bringing the work the LIBE investigative group [i.e., the Frontex Scrutiny Working Group (FSWG)] carried out on Frontex to a close. According to a press release, the committee insists, “[A] well-functioning European Border and Coast Guard Agency can help Member States manage the EU’s external borders”.
