03/10/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 3 October, the European Commission decided to appoint the German Carl-Christian Buhr to the post of Director of Digital Transformation within the Directorate-General for Informatics (DG DIGIT). He is currently Acting Director of Digital Transformation at DG DIGIT and Head of the Corporate Digital Transformation Unit at DG DIGIT. The effective date of this appointment will be determined at a later date. In addition, the Commission has decided to appoint Belgian Florence Clotuche-Duvieusart to the post of principal adviser in the European Civil Service Law team in the Commission’s Legal Service. Ms Clotuche-Duvieusart is currently Deputy Director of the ‘Social Affairs and Employment’ team in the Commission’s Legal Service. (LC)
