26/09/23 (Agence Europe) – The European e-commerce market was in good shape in 2022, with a growth rate of 6%, according to a report published on Monday 25 September by Ecommerce Europe and EuroCommerce. The main countries in terms of sales were the United Kingdom (€291 billion), France (€146 billion), Germany (€102 billion) and Spain (€72 billion). The highest growth rates were recorded in Estonia (106%), Romania (51%), Bulgaria (31%) and Spain (31%). The report highlights the challenges that e-commerce continues to face at European level: the growing demand for durable goods, the spread of a greener way of consuming, and the difficulties associated with international sales legislation. According to the two organisations, however, the sector should continue to grow in 2023. The report: https://aeur.eu/f/8qv (IS)
