Next Generation EU, 100 biggest beneficiaries of national recovery plans gradually come to light

19/09/23 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 19 September, the European Commission provided an update on the implementation of the Next Generation EU Recovery Plan, including disbursements made to finance post-Covid-19 national recovery plans, checks carried out to ensure the protection of the European Union’s financial interests and the implementation of concrete projects in the Member States using a mapping tool. New data has emerged on the 100 main beneficiaries of these national plans, a provision that the European Parliament obtained when revising the regulation establishing the RRF Facility, the financial arm of the European Recovery Plan.
