EU’s decision on opening of negotiations is vital for country, according to Olha Stefanishyna

On Friday 15 September, Ukraine’s Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Olha Stefanishyna, said that the decision to open accession negotiations was “vital”, as were the country’s ongoing reform efforts.

“In the middle of a war, we have doubled our commitments in terms of reform programmes because we understand that it's not the frontline but the frontfight for Ukraine’s future”, she explained in a conversation at the European Policy Center.
