31/08/23 (Agence Europe) – At the end of an informal meeting of the EU27’s foreign ministers in Toledo on Thursday, 31 August, High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell announced that a ministerial meeting with ministers from the Western Balkan states would be held “at the end of next month”. Mr Borrell added that this meeting should enable ministers to “take stock of what’s happening in the [Western] Balkans” as well as other aspects, including the Berlin Process, which aims to encourage closer ties between Western Balkan states and the EU. Furthermore, Mr Borrell also indicated that another meeting would be held on 14 September as part of the high-level dialogue between Serbia and Kosovo. (TM)
