Council of Europe calls for guarantees on human rights aspect of agreement on migration between EU and Tunisia

18/07/2023 (Agence Europe) – In a statement published on 16 July, Dunja Mijatović, the Council of Europe’s Commissioner for Human Rights, deplores the fact that the Memorandum of Understanding on migration between the EU and Tunisia refers to human rights only in very general terms and contains no guarantees as to their implementation.
