EU unblocks post-Cotonou agreement

18/07/23 (Agence Europe) – The French President, Emmanuel Macron, said that the ambassadors of the Member States to the European Union (Coreper) had succeeded in unblocking the “post-Cotonou agreement”, which will make it possible to “rebuild the relationship between more than 70 countries” from the EU, Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific, at the end of the EU/CELAC summit on Tuesday 18 July.
