European Parliament adopts position on Construction Products Regulation

On Tuesday 11 July, MEPs adopted the report by Christian Doleschal (EPP, German) on construction products with 498 votes in favour, 124 against and 16 abstentions. This draft regulation updates the sustainability rules for construction products. 

The European Parliament is proposing to restrict the scope of products covered by the text and to make standardisation procedures for products more effective (see EUROPE B13186A6). Its position does not differ greatly from that of the EU...
