‘European Peace Facility’, Council adopts a €8.25 million measure for Ghana Armed Forces

10/07/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 10 July, the Council of the European Union adopted an assistance measure under the 'European Peace Facility' worth €8.25 million to support the Ghana Armed Forces. The assistance measure will strengthen the operational capabilities of military units deployed in the Northern part of the country in order to combat and thwart armed groups and reduce their opportunities to carry out terrorist attacks, according to a Council press release....
