EU Council adopts agreement with European Parliament on sustainable aviation fuels

16/06/2023 (Agence Europe) – The Member States’ ambassadors to the EU (Coreper) approved, on Friday 16 June, the provisional agreement reached at the end of April with the European Parliament on the ‘ReFuelEU Aviation’ regulation on sustainable aviation fuels (SAF), which is part of the ‘Green Deal’ (see EUROPE B13170A3). Parliament still has to approve the agreement on its side before the text can be applied. (AD)
