16/06/23 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 15 June, the Eurogroup decided on its work programme up to March 2024. Its chairman, Paschal Donohoe, spoke of “three areas of focus”: - coordinating fiscal policies, in line with monetary policy, to help reduce inflation; - deepening the economic and monetary union and making it more competitive, in particular by making progress on integrating European financial markets; - the digital future of the euro and its role as an international reserve currency.
