13/06/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 12 June, the European Commission announced that the ‘EU-Ukraine visibility map’ is available. This new digital tool shows the rail traffic situation and provides initial data on train movements in and out of Ukraine. Launched by the transport management platform Transporeon, in collaboration with the association of infrastructure managers RailNetEurope, it brings together: - train dwell times; - delays (in days, hours and minutes); - the proportion of delayed trains per station. The Commission has invited public authorities, infrastructure managers and transport companies from all over Europe to join the ‘EU-Ukraine Solidarity Lanes’ initiative by sharing their respective data in order to obtain valuable information that will help Ukrainians optimise their own transport operations.
