European Parliament approves €100 million macrofinancial assistance for North Macedonia

13/06/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 13 June, the European Parliament approved by a large majority (536 votes in favour, 38 against, 23 abstentions) and without amendment the European Commission’s proposal to grant macrofinancial assistance of €100 million to North Macedonia to help this EU candidate country honour its financial commitments(see EUROPE B13115A12).
