13/06/2023 (Agence Europe) – 19 European projects came together under the banner of the ‘Smart Energy Cluster’ on Tuesday 13 June to launch the ‘smart energy transition’, to “develop, conceptualise and deploy new business models and concepts which fully tap the economic value and the wider benefits of integrated services”. These different energy services include energy efficiency, distributed generation and flexibility, and/or integrate energy services with non-energy benefits. One of the aims of this collaboration is to overcome the fragmentation of markets and segments and to “enhance the cooperation and trust among different service providers and market actors”. This cluster will work in a coordinated fashion, in particular to disseminate and communicate the exploitation of project activities and results.
