DMA, European Commission consults on relevant information to be provided by gatekeepers in their compliance reports

06/06/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 6 June, the European Commission launched a consultation on the model compliance report to be submitted by gatekeepers under the provisions of the Digital Markets Act (DMA) legislation (see EUROPE 13173/37). Through this consultation, the Commission intends, in particular, to take stock of the relevant information it needs to assess compliance with the DMA by the companies concerned. Gatekeepers with a market capitalisation of €75 billion or an annual worldwide turnover of €7.5 billion and at least 45 million users per month in the EU will be designated by the Commission by 6 September (see EUROPE 13054/14). They will then have 6 months to comply with the obligations, requirements and prohibitions set out in the DMA. (TM)
