25/05/23 (Agence Europe) – According to the European Investment Bank’s latest report, which was published on Thursday 25 May and entitled ‘Digitalisation in EUROPE 2022-2023: Evidence from the EIB Investment Survey’, almost 69% of EU companies had implemented advanced digital technologies by 2022. By 2022, the EU had closed the gap with the US where, over the same period, 71% of companies had taken steps to strengthen their digital presence, for example through robotics, big data analysis or artificial intelligence (see EUROPE 13180/1). Looking at it in detail, only 30% of micro enterprises in the EU had prioritised digitalisation, compared to 62% of large enterprises. See the report here: https://aeur.eu/f/72r (TM)
