Report on construction products adopted in European Parliament’s Committee on Internal Market

The European Parliament’s Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection approved, on Tuesday 23 May, the report by Christian Doleschal (EPP, German) on conditions for the marketing of construction products. This regulation updates and harmonises the sustainability rules for these products. 

MEPs suggest restricting the scope of products covered by the regulation compared to the Commission’s proposal (see EUROPE B12922A3). In particular, they remove from the text products...
