European Parliament’s Committee on Employment and Social Affairs calls on Member States to strengthen social dialogue

The European Parliament’s Committee on Employment and Social Affairs (EMPL) adopted its resolution on strengthening social dialogue in the EU, on Monday 8 May in Strasbourg, by 38 votes to 2 with 4 abstentions.

Carried by the S&D, EPP, Renew Europe, ECR, Greens/EFA and The Left groups, the resolution is a response to the EU Council recommendation proposed by the Commission in January (see EUROPE B13106A1, B13107A1), which calls on Member States to develop a favourable framework for this...
