European Parliament makes recommendations to make standardisation processes more effective

09/05/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 9 May, MEPs adopted the own-initiative report by Adam Bielan (ECR, Polish) on the EU standardisation strategy. While they welcome the strategy proposed by the European Commission in February 2022 (see EUROPE B12882A3), they call for stakeholders, especially SMEs, to be further taken into account in standardisation processes (see EUROPE B13151A12).
