EU Commissioner for Environment Virginijus Sinkevičius was in Costa Rica on Friday 5 May to participate in the EU-Latin America and Caribbean meeting on the environment and climate change.
The ministerial meeting is intended to be an opportunity to exchange views on areas of enhanced collaboration between the two regions, particularly in the light of the outcome of the fifth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly (UNEA 5) and COP27.
