The Permanent Representatives of the Member States to the EU (Coreper) were due to decide on the extension of the autonomous trade liberalisation measures with Ukraine on Wednesday 26 April, but postponed the decision until Friday 28 April. Last year, the European Commission proposed to suspend tariffs on imports from Ukraine for one year (see EUROPE B12949A3), and then proposed to extend them until June 2024 (see EUROPE B13128A4).
