European Commission takes legal action against six Member States for failure to notify measures transposing two copyright Directives

15/02/2023 (Agence Europe) – The European Commission decided on Wednesday 15 February to refer six Member States to the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) for failure to notify transposition measures for two copyright directives. The Commission has referred Bulgaria, Denmark, Finland, Latvia, Poland and Portugal to the CJEU for failure to notify measures fully transposing the Directive on copyright and neighbouring rights in the digital single market (2019/790).
