09/01/2023 (Agence Europe) – Contrary to what we wrote in our article dated 5 January (see EUROPE 13092/10), the EU Council has indeed decided on its position on a European single access point for data (ESAP). The political agreement in principle was reached under the French Presidency last June (see EUROPE 12982/18). The Swedish Presidency will therefore focus on starting the inter-institutional negotiations once the European Parliament’s position has been established (see EUROPE 13076/25). The online article has been corrected. (AD)
