EU Council updates European Recommendation on cancer screening in EU

09/12/2022 (Agence Europe) – The Member States adopted the European Commission’s new Recommendation on cancer screening on Friday 9 December. The previous recommendation dates from 2003. The Commissioner for Health and Food Safety, Stella Kyriakides, stressed that screening techniques and technology have improved over the years.
