EU extends illegal drilling sanctions regime for one year

08/11/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 8 November, the EU Council extended the sanctions regime related to Türkiye’s unauthorised drilling activities in the Eastern Mediterranean for one year, meaning they will now be in place until 12 November 2023.
