14/09/2022 (Agence Europe) – The group of six creditor countries of Ukraine, to which Germany and France belong, took stock on Wednesday 14 September of the work to implement the agreement sealed in July on the postponement, until the end of 2023, of the servicing of the debt that Ukraine has contracted with its members (see EUROPE 12997/5). It welcomed the conclusion of an agreement with Ukraine’s bondholders and warrantholders to “defer debt payments for 2 years”, in a statement. It also “strongly” encouraged all other bilateral institutional creditors to “swiftly reach an agreement with Ukraine on a debt service suspension”.
